(Neb.)- Husker Football Players May Be Cited For Violating Social Distancing Rules

By: Jeremy Anderson Posted at: 05/19/2020 11:10 AM
(Chadrad Sports)- Two Husker football players could be some of the first people in Lancaster County cited for violating pandemic restrictions, Lincoln authorities say.

On Sunday, Lincoln police cited 21-year-old Corbin Ruth and 19-year-old Riley Moses for maintaining a disorderly house after being called to their home near 14th and Fletcher on a loud party complaint.

Pat Lopez with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department said, to date, she has only issued one isolation order for violating COVID-19 health restrictions. She said she couldn’t comment further because the order was against an individual.

Moses is a redshirt freshman from Fairmont. Ruth is a junior from Malcolm.

The Nebraska Athletic Department did not immediately return a request for comment.
