(Neb.)- Former Husker QB Vedral Transfers To Rutgers

By: Jeremy Anderson Posted at: 05/13/2020 01:31 PM
(Chadrad Sports)-  Former Nebraska quarterback and Wahoo native Noah Vedral will stay within the Big Ten Conference as he announced his transfer to Rutgers on Wednesday morning.  He will be a graduate transfer and have immediate eligibility.

Vedral, who began his career a Centarl Florida, came to Nebraska following the departure of Scott Frost from the Knights to return to coach the Huskers.  He started two games in his time in Lincoln and told the Lincoln Journal Star in an interview that he had fully planned to battle Adrian Martinez for the starting spot this spring, but the coronavirus pandemic changed all that.

Vedral will compete with a pair Sophomores for the starting spot.  Nebraska travels to Rutgers on October 24th.
