(Chadrad Sports)- The Crawford Lady Rams split games with Potter-Dix and Cody-Kilgore over the weekend.
The Rams rolled to a 63-26 victory over Potter-Dix Friday, holding the Coyotes to single digits in three quarters while netting double digits across the board themselves. Crawford raced out to an 18-6 lead in the first period and used a 21-10 run in the second to build a 39-16 lead at the break. The Coyotes added just two points to the board in the third quarter, while the Rams sank 13 and capped the game with 11 in the fourth.
Cody-Kilgore upended the Rams the next night in a 54-40 contest as Crawford struggled to score in the first three periods. The Cowgirls had a three-point lead after one quarter but used a 17-8 run in the second for a 26-14 lead at half-time. The two teams were even in the third, each adding seven points to the board to preserve CK’s margin. The fourth quarter heated up again as each team’s shots started falling, but the Cowgirls won the quarter and the game with a 21-19 run.
The Lady Rams are now 10-9 on the season and will host Sioux County Tuesday.
