(Chadrad Sports)-  Five Chadron High Senior student athletes will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

While the decision of three of the Cardinals had been known for some time, two others made the choice on Wednesday during National Signing Day.

Trevor Berry has signed on to golf at Central Wyoming College in Riverton.  Berry was a Class B state qualifier last season after a fourth place finish at the B4 district meet.

Madi Hamar will play softball at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte.  Hamar was 2nd on the team this past season in runs scored, RBI's, and singles, while recording the most double play's turned.

Allie Ferguson is headed to Chadron State to continue her volleyball career.  Ferguson led Chadron back to the state volleyball tournament for the first time this past season for the first time since 2016, and led the team in kills and ace serves.

The duo of Cooper Heusman and Cooper Wild will play Chadron State football.  The helped lead the Cardinals to three consecutive district titles and three playoffs appearances.

There may be more Chadron High student athletes that will continue their careers at the college level that are not known at this time, but we will pass that information along as it becomes available.
