(Neb.)- Sioux County Boys Now Two Games Above .500
(Chadrad Sprots)- The Sioux County Warriors rolled to a 52-25 victory over the Edgemont Moguls Saturday, sinking eight three-pointers as a team on their way to the win.
The Warriors put up 16 points in the opening quarter, half of them by Tommy Watson, and held the Moguls to just three points. Michael Comstock scored 10 of the Warriors’ 15 second-quarter points to give Sioux County a 31-11 half-time lead. The Warriors duplicated their first quarter 16-3 run in the third period. Edgemont outscored the Warriors in the fourth 11-5 but it was too little, too late.
Comstock led the Warriors with 16 points, including three treys; Tristan Hunter was the only other Warrior in double digits, with 13 including two three-pointers. Grant Darrow led Edgemont with nine points, followed by Caleb Simons with six.
The Warriors are now 5-3 on the season and face Guernsey-Sunrise in Wyoming Monday. The Mogusl fall to 1-8 with the loss.
