(Neb.)- Cardinals Drop Road Trip To Ogallala 43-6

By: Jeremy Anderson Posted at: 10/04/2019 09:06 PM
(Chadrad Sports)-  The Chadron defense had a hard time slowing down Ogallala's Clayton Murphy as the Indian's quarterback threw for 4 touchdowns in a 43-6 route of the Cardinals.

Chadron's lone score of the night came off of the legs of Dillan Sayaloune on a 17-yard run with 11:09 left in the 2nd quarter in which at that point pulled the score to 20-6 in favor of Ogallala.

Ogallala tacked on another touchdown before half to grab a 28-6 lead at the break.  Another two 2nd half scoring drives for the Indians capped off the scoring and put Ogallala in the drivers seat for the C1-10 district championship.

Cooper Heusman was named the Chadron Runza player of the game for his defensive performance on the night, playing with an injured hand.

Chadron returns home next Friday night to square off with Chase County as 6:00 pm on Stereo AM 610 KCSR.
