(Lincoln)- Robin Krapfl (CROP-fill) is retiring after 32 years as the Nebraska women's golf coach.
Krapfl, who made the announcement Monday, played three years for the Cornhuskers and was an assistant for four seasons before she became head coach in 1988.
The West Point native led Nebraska to three NCAA championships appearances, 11 regional berths and was a two-time conference coach of the year. This year the Huskers finished 13th in the 14-team Big Ten Tournament for the fourth time in five years.
She said, "Nebraska women's golf deserves more than I can give, so I have decided to retire."
