(Neb.)- Chadron Boys Golf Hits Buzzsaw At Gering
(Chadrad Sports)- A loaded field held any Chadron boys golfer from placing at Monday's Gering Invitational. The meet, originally scheduled for last Thursday, was moved to yesterday due to weather.
Trevor Berry shot a solid score of 85, but an 83 was the highest score inside the top 10, individually.
Cheyenne East dominated the meet with a team score of 304, 34 strokes better than cross town rival Cheyenne Central. The Chieftains and Thunderbirds also controlled the top 6 individual placers.
As for the rest of the Cardinals, Jacksyn Behrends shot a 99. Zach Collins carded a 101 and Blake Olson finished with a 102. Shawn Schremmer rounded out the squad with a 110.
As a team Chadron placed 7th out of 8 with a score of 387, well ahead of Cheyenne South.
Chadron will turn around and head to Ogallala on Thursday for their final regular season meet.
