(Neb.)- Husker Men's Basketball Grabs Another Recruit
(Lincoln)- The signees keep rolling in for the Nebraska men's basketball team. Dalano Banton, a 6' 8" guard who played at Western Kentucky last season, committed and signed with the Huskers on Wednesday.
The Toronto native started 12 games for the Hilltoppers last season and averaged 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He best performance as a True Freshman last year came in a win over Wisconsin in which he score 8 points, grabbed 13 boards, and dished out 10 assists.
Due to the NCAA transfer rules, Banton will have to sit out next year before having three years of eligibility remaining.
Nebraska has one more open scholarship left to fill for next season depending on what current Husker Isaiah Roby decides with the NBA draft.
