(Lincoln)- The Nebraska baseball team bounced back from a series loss to Minnesota last weekend with a 7-0 win over Kansas State on Tuesday.

The Huskers pounced on the Wildcats early in the top off the first when leading 1-0 with bases load, Jaxon Hallmark sliced a liner to the right field wall and rounded all the bases for an inside-the-park grand slam.

Freshman lefty Kyle Perry went 7 innings on the mound, giving up just three hits while striking out three.

Nebraska is now 14-9 on the season and jumps back in to conference play on Friday hosting Purdue.
