Edgemont Takes Two From Crawford On KBPY Thursday
(Chadron, Neb.)-The high school basketball season restarted with two games in Edgemont, featuring the Moguls and Crawford Rams.
The games were broadcast on 107.7 KBPY, with the boys game going to Edgemont 43-40.
The game was close from beginning to end with the two teams tied at 13 after one period and Edgemont taking a six point lead into the half.
Crawford came out of the locker room and took the lead in the third with Will Ackerman scoring seven points in the period to himself to Edgemont's two as a team. The Moguls found their touch again the fourth and put the game away with only seconds to play.
Caleb Simons led all scoring putting up 25, while Ackerman led the Rams with 16.
In the Girls game Crawford hung with the Moguls in the first period but trailed by ten at the half before falling the Edgemont 57-43.
Maddie Peterson had twenty six points for the Moguls, while Blake Dodd led the lady Rams with 15.
Sioux Country will travel to Edgemont Saturday and we will have the girls and boys games on about noon on 107.7 KBPY.
