KEARNEY, Neb. --
The Chadron State women fell to 1-5 on the season with an 89-59 loss to 11th-ranked Fort Hays State Sunday afternoon as part of the UNK Crossover Classic.

The Classic pitted the Eagles and Colorado-Colorado Springs of the RMAC against Hay and Nebraska-Kearney, both former RMAC members now in the MIAA.

The Eagles held an early lead when a pair of Taryn Foxen free throws put them up 6-4, but the Tigers scored 14 of the next 18 points and trailed again. It was 18-10 at the quarter, 36-22 at the half, and 61-44 going into the final period.

Three players scored in double-digits for the Eagles, Taryn Foxen with 12 points and Savannah Weidauer and Angelique Gall with 10 each.

Lanie Page led the 5-0 Tigers with 16 points, Tatyana Legette had 14 points and Kacey Kennett added ten. Legette recorded 9 of her points from the free throw line in 12 attempts. Four other individuals scored 8 points for the Tigers.
