(Neb.)- Tough Field Pays Tolls On Cardinal Golfers At Districts
(Chadrad Sports)- The state qualifying cut line was a 79 at Monday's B-4 boys district meet in Ogallala. Chadron's Trevor Berry just missed out with a round of 81.
Just a Sophomore, Berry has been Chadron's most consistent golfer this season, finishing inside the top ten on six different occasions including an invidual championship at the Western Conference Meet.
Top honors went to Connor Dormann of Sidney with a 75. There were ties for 2nd, 4th, 7th, and 9th places on a day when low scores were found everywhere.
Sidney also grabbed the team title with a score of 320, followed by Scottsbluff's 321, and Adams Central's 322.
As for the rest of the Cardinal line-up, Blake Olson shot a 98, Luke Tiensvold carded a 110, Jay Milburn finished with a 112, and Sam Rischling scored a 131.
The Class B State meet will be held next Tuesday and Wednesday at Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus.
