(Neb.)- Illness Rough On Short-handed Cardinals At Gering Invite

(Chadrad Sports)- Battling illness, the Chadron boys golfers had a rough day at the Gering Invite at Monument Shadows on Monday afternoon.  Only four Cardinals hit the course to finish with a team score of 444.  Cheyenne East took the title with a 313.

Despite a solid round of 84, Trevor Berry missed out on a top ten finish, breaking a streak of five consecutive that included the Western Conference championship.

Jay Milburn tallied a round of 106, Sam Rischling carded a 121, and Luke Tiensvold finished with a 133.

Chadron wraps up the regular season on Thursday in Ogallala with a 9:00 AM start.
