BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Chadron State senior Stachia Reuwsaat is a double 2017 All-America after placing 3rd today in the women's 60-meter dash at the NCAA Division II NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. She defended her national title in the long jump on Thursday,

Reuwsaat's time in the final was 7.47 seconds. She set the CSC record of 7.43 two weeks ago in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference 60-meter championship, where she placed 2nd behind Dianna Johnson of Adams State, who won the national title today.

Johnson's time of 7.34 in Birmingingham just clipped Nikia Squire of Queens (NC) by 1-100th of a second. Squire beat Reuwsaat for the outdoor long jump title last spring after matching the CSC standout for the longest jump at the indoor meet and losing on the basis of their second-best jumps. She placed 6th this year.
