(Chadron-KCSR)- Four Chadron Cardinals and a Hay Springs Hawk will be taking part in this weekends West Nebraska Football and Volleyball All-Star games.

Stevin Horrocks of Hay Springs was selected to play on the West All-Star team in this weekends football game.  Horrocks was a running back for the Hawks this past season, leading them to the second round of the D-2 playoffs.  Stevin signed to play football for Chadron State back in February.

Joining Horrocks on the West All-Stars will be future CSC teammate T.D Stein and Cooper Cogdill both of Chadron.  T.D and Cooper helped lead the Cardinals to the first round of the 2014 playoffs while capturing the district championship.  T.D will play football for Chadron State in the fall, while Cooper will wrestle for the Eagles.

On the volleyball court a pair of former Cardinals will get a chance to team up one more time.

Maaryn Davis and Ashlea Kerr will both represent the West All-Star team.

Maaryn and Ashlea guided the Lady Cardinals back to the state volleyball tournament in 2013, where they lost in the first round.  Maaryn will attend college at Sheridan College where she will also play volleyball for the Lady Generals, while Ashlea will play basketball at Gillette College.

The volleyball game will start from Cougar Palace on the campus of WNCC at 2:00 p.m.  The football game will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff.
