(Neb)-Chadron Public Schools Back From Break Mon, But No Afterschool Program

By: John Axtell Posted at: 03/13/2020 02:19 PM
CHADRON - Chadron Public Schools Superintendent Dr Caroline Winchester says students will return from spring break on Monday as scheduled, even though the break has been extended for a second week at Chadron State College.

Winchester says the extra week off for Chadron State students does mean there will no be After School Program for Chadron students since much of the manpower for the program comes from college students.

Winchester also says that she and her counterparts at other area school districts have been contact with local, district and state officials and health departments about the dynamic coronavirus situation.

She and the other superintendents along Highway 20 in the Panhandle will issue a joint news release update Monday at 1:30.
