(Neb)- Just Love Coffee Open in Petersern Drug Listen
CHADRON - Months of renovation, remodeling, and preparation came to an end Wednesday as the south half of Petersen Drug reopened as the first Nebraska location of Tennessee-based coffee-and-dining chain, Just Love Coffee Cafe.
Petersen's owner, Drew Petersen, says it was a relief to open the doors for paying customers after making the decision to drop the Radio Shack/electronics section of the store in favor of Just Love.
Just Love, which offers breakfasts and sandwiches all made with waffle irons, had steady traffic all day despite the fact there was no publicity or advertising about the opening. Petersen says that was intentional to give his staff a chance to ease into actual operations.
Petersen's tentative date for the grand opening is 2 weeks from Saturday on October 19
Just Love began 8 years ago, but now has 20 locations open or under development in the Midwest and Southeast, and is a 3-time finalist for the industry's Micro Roaster of the Year award
