(Neb)-WING Raids In SB Co Yield Pound-Plus Of Meth
SCOTTSBLUFF - Two search warrant raids on Scotts Bluff County residences by investigators with the WING drug task force Friday led to the seizure of more than 550 grams of methamphetamine - over a pound - and the arrest of 6 people.
WING officials have not said what led to the investigation that resulted in the search warrants served residences in Terrytown and Scottsbluff.
Seized from the Terrytown home were 99-grams of meth and an undisclosed number of prescription painkillers. 47-year old Scott John, 53-year old Tammy Anthony, 36-year old Steve Rengler, and 36-year old Tammy Discoll were all taken into custody for possession of meth with intent to deliver.
The search warrant raid on the Scottsbluff residence yielded another 477 grams of meth, less than a gram of a mixture of meth and fentanyl, less than one ounce of marijuana, and another undisclosed number of controlled pills.
39-year old Trever Ballheim and 42-year old Melissa Reed were both arrested on multiple charges that included possession of meth with intent to deliver. All 6 defendants were lodged in the Scotts Bluff County Jail.
The WING Task force includes officers and investigators from several agencies in the Panhandle, including the Nebraska State Patrol and the Chadron Police Department.
