(Neb)-After A Month, Still No Info On Missing Wyo Man

By: John Axtell Posted at: 08/09/2019 10:51 PM
GERING - Gering-area authorities still have no answers in the disappearance of a former Edgemont-area man who was last seen over a month ago leaving a relative's home in Gering after an argument with his wife.

Gering Police Captain Jason Rogers told KNEB News on Friday they still have no information on what happened to Chance Englebert of Moorcroft, Wyo.
Captain Rogers said authorities are still getting calls from people about possible sightings, but that "so far nothing has panned out" with no calls that led to new information.

Englebert left the Gering residence on foot July 6th about 7 pm and was spotted on surveillance video walking north on 10th Street in Gering about a half-hour later

A massive search involving 18 agencies scoured that general area plus the North Platte area over the following week without results.

Englebert's family has put out multiple statements asking him to contact them and let them know he was safe if his disappearance was voluntarily, and authorities have emphasized Englebert would not be facing any type of charges in such a scenario.
