(Neb.)- Crawford OWT & Western Wildlife Art Show Begin To Ramp Up
(Chadrad News)- Today is the lull before the storm at the Crawford Old West Trails Rodeo, the gap between yesterday's Youth Rodeo Fun Day and the PRCA rodeos on Wednesday and Thursday, but sidewalk sales continue downtown and the annual Western Wildlife Art Show in the historic Veterinary Hospital at Fort Robinson State Part opens fully to the public with the hours of 9:00 am - 7:00 pm today and tomorrow plus 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Thursday.
This year's featured artist at the 47th year of the show is Teri McTighe of South Dakota, who combines art and ranching- turning out both quality Herefords and art in a variety of media. She's considered a free-hand artist with exceptional detail that brings to life the fun of living on the prarie and the beauty of her surroundings.
McTighe participates in shows across the high plains in Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and the Dakotas. Her works can be found in multiple galleries and many private collections, not just in the United States but in other countries as well.
