(KCSR News)- Nebraska Public Power District is currently responding to an outage in is western Dawes County affecting areas from Fort Robinson to Whitney along highway 20.
At this time NPPD is reporting that 747 customers are being affected and hope to have the issue resolved sometime early this afternoon.
The NPPD outage has apparently also affected Northwest Rural Public Power District in the Crawford area.
Northwest Rural spokesman Tony Hindman says there's an outage at the Crow Butte substation outside of Crawford, which gets its electricity from NPPD.
Hindman says NWRPPD crews are working with those from NPPD to resolve NPPD's "issue" and restore power to both its customers and the NWRPPD customers served by the Crow Butte substation.
