(Wyo)-Devil's Tower Gets New Supt

By: John Axtell Posted at: 03/07/2019 11:45 PM
DEVIL'S TOWER NM, Wyo. (AP) -  Devils Tower, the first national monument in the U-S, is getting a new superintendent who needs no time to transition into the job.
That's because Amnesty Kochanowski has been serving as interim superintendent since July and will officially succeed Tim Reid on St Patrick's Day.

Kochanowski has been the safety, health and wellness manager for Cedar Breaks National Monument, Pipe Spring National Monument, and Zion National Park in Utah and Arizona since 2011.
Devils Tower National Monument covers more than 2-square miles surrounding the more than 1,250-foot-tall volcanic formation made famous worldwide in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
