(SD)-Rapid City Airport Reopens After Day-Long Storm Closure
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The Rapid City Regional Airport has reopened a day after a winter storm shut it down, cancelling all flights in and out.
The airport said on its Facebook page this morning that employees worked through the night to clean up the blowing and drifting snow that had both limited visibility and piled up on runways - not to mention parking lots
The airport reopened about 4 a-m and urged travelers to check with their airline on possible flight changes, warning that yesterday's cancellations both in Rapid City and elsewhere would impact schedules today.
