CHADRON - It's here - this year's KCSR / KBPY Parade of Lights is tonight at 6:00 pm with the theme, "There's No Place Like Home For Christmas." The parade will run from 1st and Main to the Dawes County Courthouse.
We'll air the parade with John Axtell and new Chadron City Council member Cheryl Welch describing all the floats.
Leading into the parade will be a Meet and Greet at the Downtown Gathering Space at 2nd/Main with 2 of Santa's reindeer - Comet and Cupid. Everyone is invited to stop starting at 4:00 for an up-close look at live reindeer, who will be in the parade as well.
Also in the parade will be Chadwick, the Chadron Chamber of Commerce elf, but Chamber director Gabby Michna says Chadwick will, as usual, be hiding.
