(Neb)-Sheridan County Deputy Arrested For Tuesday Incident
RUSHVILLE, (AP) - Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a Sheridan County Sheriff’s Deputy on multiple charges including child abuse and strangulation.
State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas says the charges facing Deputy Chris Henry stem from an incident that occurred on Tuesday. The victim was taken to a local hospital and appears to be in good health.
Henry has been lodged in the Dawes County Jail rather than the Sheridan County Jail in Rushville. . Thomas says further details in the Henry case are not available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
Chris Henry unsuccessfully ran for sheriff in last month's Republican primary, losing to Jeff Brewer 781-281.
