(SD)-41 Months For Spearfish Bank Robber
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Belle Fourche woman who admitted robbing a Spearfish bank a year ago this month has been sentenced to more than three years in federal prison.
23-year-old Kaycee Teppo had entered the bank and given a teller a note saying she had a gun and demanding money. When she later turned herself in to authorities, the weapon turned out to be a BB gun.
Teppo eventually pleaded guilty in a deal with prosecutors and was sentenced Monday to 3 years 5 months in prison with a restitution hearing to be held later.
