(Neb)-Slower Speed Limit Signs Finally Up In Chadron Listen
CHADRON - It's taken a few months, but Chadron City Manager Greg Yanker says the Nebraska Department of Transportation has finally put up the signs marking slower speed limits for Highway 20 on the west side of Chadron.
Yanker says the speed limit changes have their biggest impact on drivers approaching Chadron from the west as they have to reduce their speed as they hit the city limits at Stockade Road.
Yanker says westbound traffic remains 30 mph until about Linden Street just past Walmart, where it changes to 45 until west of Stockade Road when the normal highway limit of 65 mph begins.
