RAPID CITY, S.D. (ASSOCIATED PRESS) - Rapid City police have made an arrest in an August casino robbery and have identified suspects in a July robbery at a convenience store.
Bond has been set at $25,000 for 33-year-old Tavis Walker, who is accused in the Aug. 21 robbery of the Rushmore Casino. He has not yet entered a plea.
Police say they have identified two suspects in a July 24 robbery of the Circle S convenience store. The suspects are in custody in Nebraska. In that robbery, an assailant beat a clerk with a plunger handle and took a pack of cigarettes.
Rapid City police also are looking for two suspects in a robbery late Friday at the Queen of Hearts Casino.
