(Wyo.)-Winter Weather On Way To Wyoming

By: Roxie Graham-Marski Posted at: 10/04/2012 11:15 AM
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - It feels like fall, but it will soon feel like winter.
The National Weather Service is predicting the first snowfall of the season for parts of the state on Friday and Saturday.
A cold front on Wednesday brought widespread subfreezing temperatures to much of the state. Temperatures Thursday are 10 to 20 degrees below normal.
But two stronger, colder systems moving in on its heels are expected to bring snow to Casper, Riverton, Cheyenne and elsewhere. Up to 4 inches of snow could fall in the Cheyenne area along Interstate 80 with higher amounts in the mountains.
Temperatures could drop into the teens in some areas Friday night.
