11/11/2019 - Raquel Dee Yankton-Reinhart

Funeral services for 41-year old Raquel Dee Yankton-Reinhart will be Monday Nov 11, 2019 at 2:00 at the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee, S.D., with Father Ed Hunt officiating and traditional Lakota services with Mr Richard Moves Camp and Mr Wilbur “Chub White Mouse.

Graveside services will be in the Yankton Family Cemetery, in Wanblee.

A two-night wake service will be held starting Saturday, Nov 9, at 11:00 AM, also at the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Raquel Dee Yankton-Reinhart was born on December 2, 1977 in Pine Ridge, SD to Royal Delane Yankton and Gertie (Ashley) Yankton.  Rauqel made her journey to the Spirit World on October 26, 2019 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Raquel is survived by her husband, Jim Reinhart of Wall, SD; daughters, Clara, Charlize, and Cydnee Bettelyoun all of Wanblee, SD; mother, Gertie (Ashley)Yankton; brothers, Royden “Pasu” Yankton of Wanblee, SD; adopted brothers, Austin Watkins & Albert Curry, Jr. of Kyle, SD, Rhonda “Chep” Yankton, Rella Yankton both of Rapid City, SD; Revalynn (Robert) Montileaux and Randene Yankton both of Wanblee, SD; and adopted sister; Melanie Janis of Kyle, SD.

Raquel was preceded in death by her father, Delane Yankton; sibling, Randy “Pete” Yankton; daughter, Caydee Catherine Bettelyoun; paternal grandparents, Roy & Rose (Randall) Yankton; and maternal grandparents, Joseph & Victoria (Red Elk) Chips-Ashley.

Pallbearers will be Austin Watkins, Lee Horned Antelope, Jude Dillon, Robert Montileaux, Tyson Red Elk, Cornell Reddest, Tilden Reddest, and Ace Amiotte.
