Funeral services for Lisa Kay Red Owl, age 47, will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with Pastor Kim Montileaux officiating.

Graveside services will be at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Cemetery in Kyle, SD.

A one-night wake service will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Lisa was born on February 10, 1972 in Pine Ridge, SD to Calvin Red Owl and Alvon Little Whiteman. She made her journey to the Spirit World on June 6, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Lisa is survived by mother Alvon “Bonnie” Little Whiteman of Kyle, SD; father Calvin Red Owl of Hot Springs, SD; children Casey (Rachel) Montileaux and Brandi Red Owl of Rapid City, SD, Shaina Montileaux of Kyle, SD, and Lucy Montileaux of Rapid City, SD; sisters Amy Red Owl and Carrie Red Owl of Kyle, SD; brothers Lee Red Owl and Cory Red Owl of Kyle, SD and Sage Red Owl and Dylan Red Owl of Hot Springs, SD; grandchildren Braxton Montileaux, Eliza Montileaux, Alexis Red Owl, Sophia Shoulders, and Dominique Shoulders; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Aloysius Little Whiteman Sr. and Lucy (Broken Rope) Little Whiteman; paternal grandparents Kenneth Red Owl and Rachel (Blue Bird) Red Owl; uncle Al Little Whiteman Jr.; nephew Nicholas White; and cousin David Newitt.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Red Owl, Jordan Good Weasel, Malcolm Shot With Arrow, Harold Red Owl, Chace Little Whiteman, and Jeremy American Horse.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Ann, Deon Bull Bear, Tamera Ashley, and all Friends and Relatives.

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Lisa Kay Red Owl.
