02/17/2018 - Jeremiah Isaiah Perez

Funeral services for Jeremiah Isaiah Perez, age 17, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Porcupine School Gymnasium in Porcupine, SD with Pastor Matt Hadden officiating.
Burial will be at Porcupine Presbyterian Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 3:30 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Porcupine School Gymnasium in Porcupine, SD.
Pallbearers will be Angelo Perez III, Daniel Perez, Lester Tail Jr., Micheal Spider Jr., Waniyetu Yellow Cloud, John Bianas, Orn Soldier Wolf, Jeremiah Quick Bear, Hoka Yellow Cloud, Cody Hornbeck, Mike Little Bear, and Samuel “UB” Rouillard.
Jeremiah was born on April 19, 2000 in Pine Ridge, SD and passed away on February 9, 2018 in Evergreen, SD. 
Jeremiah spent his childhood in Rapid City, SD and attended middle school at PierreIndianLearningCenter, graduated from the 8th grade there. He attended high school at Flandreau Indian School and later left to attend his remaining years at Little Wound High School in Kyle, SD. Jeremiah was very smart and carried a lot of talent; he loved everyone and showed respect to everyone he met.
Jeremiah is survived by parents Cassandra American Horse of Sioux Falls, SD and Corbin Perez of Porcupine, SD; brothers Evan Lone Hill and Tyrell Perez of Omaha, NE, Alijah Lujan of Riverton, WY, and Christian Cole and Adicus American Horse of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters Keana Perez of Sioux Falls, SD, Anastasia Perez of Rapid City, SD, and Christene American Horse of Sioux Falls, SD. 
Jeremiah was preceded in death by “G1” Carol Hornbeck, Dacia Perez, Simon Gomez, Carter Woolever, Burgess Bianas Sr., Marshall Bianas, Carl Janis, Anola Bianas, Angel Perez, and Shirley Bissonette. 

Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Jeremiah Isaiah Perez.
