Summer Reading Program 2020
Chadron Public Library announces the kick off of the Summer Reading Program 2020. This year’s theme is “Imagine Your Story,” and it will explore fairytales, fantasy, sci-fi, and mythology.
Libraries and schools encourage students to read during the summer to reinforce the reading skills acquired during the school year. Many studies prove the mind is like a muscle and needs to be exercised. Reading is one of the best ways to do it.
The 2020 Summer Reading program will start June 8, 2020. The program will end on July 18, 2020. Due to the present COVID-19 pandemic, the summer reading program will be fully online. The pre-registration process will begin on May 26, 2020. This year’s summer reading program can be accessed at chadronpl.com. The website will be accessible through computer, tablet, and phone whether the patron owns an android or iPhone. The public can access the website from chadronpubliclibrary.com Because the program is online this year the library will be keeping track of reading logs online.
