Chris is a graduate of Rushville High School and Chadron State College.  She lives in Chadron with her two boys, Zach and Travis, who are both very active in the Chadron school system.  Chris has been involved with the news team for Stereo AM 610 KCSR for 10 years, and even when not a fixture in the office has contributed time to help cover stories for the station.  As a self-proclaimed "weather nerd," she will also be helping to keep listeners informed during any severe weather outbreaks.  Chris yearly makes the trek down to Denver in February for the Storm Chasers Convention, and has made connections with other "nerds" to help her keep on top of the latest weather information, as well as having a great rapport with the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.  She took her love of storms to the next level when she was trained in paintless dent removal, but will be chasing storms with the intent of keeping listeners informed and safe.
