(Chadron)- The Chadron High girls golf team will qualify for the state meet as a team for the third year in a row following Monday's district runner-up finish in Ogallala.  Ogallala took top honors with a team score of 371, while the Lady Cardinals were 24-strokes back at 395.  Mitchell captured the other team qualifying spot with a round of 417.

Senior Alpine Hickstein won the individual title with a round of 76 to cap off a high school career of four district titles in four years.

Joining Hickstein with state meet experience are Kat Dodd who shot a 108, and Taurie Pourier who carded a 104.  The two Lady Cards who will see their first state competition are Aubree Noble who finished with a 107 and Maddie Pelton who struggled to a 133.

The state meet will once again be held at Lake Maloney Golf Course in North Platte starting a week from today, Monday, October 9th.
