(Neb.)- Fall Sports Practices Begin Today
(Chadrad Sports)- For the first time, every NSAA fall sport will begin practice today. Proposals and changes suggested and made at the NSAA Representative Assembly back in April will take affect starting this year.
In years past, sports such as volleyball and cross country would begin practice a week later than others that begin in the fall. The intentions now are to simply allow all sports practices to begin on the same date, and possibly allow school athletic directors to stretch volleyball schedules out for another week without adding any new games.
As in years past, girls golf and softball will begin their season schedule the weekend of August 18th, while the other four sports will begin competition the week of August 25th.
Our first football broadcast of the season on AM 610 KCSR will be August 25th when Chadron travels to Alliance.
