(Chadron)- In a loaded field from the B-4 district boys golf meet in Ogallala on Monday, Chadron failed to send anyone on to the state golf meet.  The Cardinals finished 8th in the team standings with a score of 362.  Sidney took the district title with a 316.

Corbin Johnson finished two strokes out of qualifying for the state meet with a round of 84.  Trevor Berry was four stokes back with an 88.  Sean O'Brien carded a 93, and Tyler Westlake dropped in a 97.  After turning in a personal best of 87 in Ogallala last Thursday, Blake Olson finished his day with a 109.

Not only did Sidney lead the team standings, they had the best individual performer of the day in Connor Dormann who fired off a 75.

At the D-5 district being played at Legend Buttes in Crawford, only one area golfer punched a ticket to the state meet.  Hay Springs Drew Letcher shot an 86 to take the 10th and final qualifying spot.

The Class D state golf meet will begin on Tuesday, May 23rd at Lake Maloney golf course in North Platte.
