(Wyo)-UW's Brian Hill To Skip Senior Year For NFL Draft
LARAMIE - Record-setting Wyoming running back Brian Hill is forgoing his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.
The school says Hill notified coach Craig Bohl of his decision on Monday, with Bohl thanking Hill for his contributions over the past three seasons and for helping Wyoming compete for a Mountain West Conference championship this fall.
In just 3 years, Hill broke the Wyoming career rushing record with 4,287 r yards while twice breaking the single season mark with 1,631 last year and 1,860 this season. He also holds the school records for a yards per game for both a season at 135.9 set last year and career at 112.82.
Hill scored a Cowboys' single-season record 22 rushing touchdowns this fall, bringing his career total to a record 35 - one more than the previous mark, which had stood since 1950.
