(Neb.)-Chadron Sharks compete in Wyoming

By: Andrew Lacy Posted at: 03/06/2013 08:37 AM
The 2013 Winter State Swim Meet Championships were held in Laramie Wyoming March 1-3.

Chadron Sharks had three swimmers qualify in 16 different events. The State swim meet included 499 swimmers from 24 different schools in Wyoming plus Chadron and Scottsbluff.

The Chadron swimmers performed well despite not having a pool to practice diving or distance. Some of the Chadron Swim Team has been practicing in the Super 8 Motel pool, while most Wyoming schools have multiple Olympic sized pools with multiple swim lanes.
