(Neb.)-Girls subdistrict pairings announced

Playoff brackets were released Thursday morning for girls basketball subdistricts. The pairings for schools in our KCSR/KBPY coverage area are:

C1-12
#1 Chadron vs. #4 Gordon-Rushville Tuesday, Feb. 12. 5 p.m. at Alliance High School. (Game will be broadcast on AM 610 KCSR and Chadrad.com)

#3 Mitchell vs. #2 Kimball Feb. 12. 6:30 p.m. at Alliance High School

Winners of the two games will meet Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Alliance.

C2-12
#1 Bridgeport vs. #4 Morrill Feb. 12. 6 p.m. at Gering High School

#2 Hemingford vs. #3 Bayard Feb. 12. 7:45 p.m. at Gering High School

Winners will play Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. in Gering.

D1-12
#4 Garden County vs. #5 Minatare Feb. 11. 6 p.m. at Sidney High School

#1 Crawford vs. Garden County/Minatare winner Feb. 12. 6 p.m. at Sidney High School

#3 Creek Valley vs. #2 Potter-Dix Feb. 12. 7:30 p.m. at Sidney High School

Winners will play Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. in Sidney

D2-12
#4 South Platte vs. #5 Banner County Feb. 11. 6 p.m. at Mitchell High School

#1 Sioux County vs. South Platte/Banner County winner Feb. 12. 5 p.m. at Mitchell High School

#2 Leyton vs. #3 Hay Springs Feb. 12. 6:30 p.m. at Mitchell High School

Winners will play Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. in Mitchell

Brackets for all sudbistricts are available through the NSAA website. Boys subdistrict pairings will be released Tuesday.
