(Neb.)-Nebraska season ticket opportunity

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska football fans can start applying for the chance to buy season tickets located in Memorial Stadium's expanded east side.

The athletic department announced Thursday that about 3,000 tickets will be available to the public, and the process of filling those seats will occur this spring. Only fans who submit their information to the 2013 ticket wait list will have a chance to become a season ticket holder.

Fans can apply by clicking on the "2013 Ticket Wait List" link on Huskers.com.

Priority will be given to fans making a per-seat donation above the cost of the tickets. A $50 deposit per ticket ordered is required and will be applied to the purchase price if approved.
