(Neb.)-Four Lady Cardinals earn all-state honorable mentions

Nebraska all-state volleyball teams have been announced, with four Chadron players earning honorable mentions.

Ashlyn Eitemiller, Alia Brennan, Ashlea Kerr and Maggie Earney were among players recognized statewide after leading the Lady Cardinals to a 27-4 record and a trip to the state tournament.

Eitemiller will be playing Division II college volleyball next season at Colorado School of Mines, while Brennan will stay in town to play for Chadron State.

Other area players to receive honorable mentions include Sara Marlatt, Cirsten Hinn and Brittany Hoagland of Gordon-Rushville as well as Hemingford's Kelsy Wood.
