(Neb.)-Eagles Stay Third In Super Region 4 Rankings
The Chadron State College football team remained third in the most recent NCAA Division II Super Region Four rankings, which were released Monday.
The top six teams in each of the four regions will advance to the NCAA Division II playoffs at the end of the regular season. The top two ranked teams in each region will receive first round byes, while the third and fourth ranked teams will host an opening round game.
Super Region Four includes teams from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the Lone Star Conference and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Ashland (9-0) jumped Colorado State University-Pueblo (9-0) to take the top spot. The ThunderWolves, who lead the RMAC, are now ranked second.
The Eagles, who are 7-2 overall and 6-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, are third.
Indianapolis (7-1) is fourth, West Texas A&M is fifth (8-1) and Saginaw Valley State is sixth (7-2).
