(Neb.)-CSC Golfers In Fifth At Western New Mexico Tournament
SILVER CITY, N.M. – The Chadron State College women's golf team shot an opening round of 344 at the final Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference event of the fall season Saturday at Silver City Golf Course in New Mexico.
The Eagles, who will conclude the tourney today (Sunday), are in fifth place, just ahead of Black Hills State with 345 and Colorado Mesa with 348.
Western New Mexico leads the team race with 322, while CSU-Pueblo is in second with 323.
Emilee Pilkington led the Chadron State golfers with a round of 84. The other four golfers were all close behind.
Darcy Vernon shot an 86, Emma Harris and Schuyler Wetzel each shot 87s, and Karissa Moreland shot a 90.
