LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Chadron State College women's golf team continued its strong play Tuesday during the final round of the Regis University Invitational at Fox Hollow Golf Course.

The Eagles, who shot the third-best 18-hole score of 328 on Monday, followed with a round of 337 Tuesday to finish in a tie for fifth place with Black Hills State by shooting a 665.

The 36-hole total of 665 is the second best tournament score in school history. The best two-day score of 660 was shot during Regis' tournament in 2005.

Regis' Nicole Hulbert shot a 149 to win the tournament, just nipping Pueblo's Leina Kim, who shot a 150.

Schuyler Wetzel finished as Chadron State's top golfer. Wetzel, a freshman from Hot Springs, S.D., shot an 82 on Monday but fired an 80 during Tuesday's final round to finish in 17th place with 162.
