(Neb.) - Chadron golfers struggle in McCook
MCCOOK - The Chadron High School boys golf team struggle on Tuesday at Heritage Hills Golf Course in the McCook Invitational.
The Cardinals, who carded a season low 387 as a team, were led by Hunter Hageman and Alec Burk. The duo shot a matching 93. Brenton Bauerkemper carded a 99, while Josh Wild finished with a 102. Keenan Johnson also competed and shot a 119.
The host Bison won the Invite with a 318. They were led by individual champion Sean Backer, who shot a 74.
The Cardinals will get a chance to redeem themselves at Heritage Hills when they return May 15 for the District Meet.
The Chadron boys are in action again on Saturday when they travel to Alliance.
