(Neb)-Two Traffic Stops Net $1.1-M In Pot
AURORA, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska state troopers arrested two drivers within minutes of each other Wednesday afternoon after finding marijuana worth an estimated $1.14-million dollars in their vehicles after traffic stops in Hamilton County.
The State Patrol says a trooper stopped an SUV around 4:30 p.m. for speeding on Highway 14 in Aurora. A search turned up 325 pounds of pot and more than a pound of marijuana edibles.
A few minutes later a trooper pulled over a vehicle on Interstate 80 near Giltner for failing to signal. A patrol K-9 alerted troopers to the presence of drugs and a search of the vehicle turned up 55 pounds of pot.
