(Wyo)-Wyo Jobless Rate Dips But Labor Force Falls, Too
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming's unemployment rate fell a tenth of a point in February to an even 4%. That's down a half a point from last year, but officials still say a big part of the falling jobless rate can be attributed to workers moving out of the state. Wyoming's labor force fell by about 3,800, or 1.3% February to February.
Teton County recorded the lowest jobless rate in the state in February at 2.4%, followed by Niobrara 2.6%, Goshen 2.7% and Albany 2.8%. The highest unemployment rates were found in Fremont at 5.8%, Park 5.3%, and Natrona and Sheridan both at 5.1%.
