(Neb)-Sheridan County Commissioners Set 2019-22 Salaries
RUSHVILLE - The Sheridan County Commissioners have decided to follow the recommendation of NACO, the Nebraska Association of County Officials, in setting salaries for the next 4 years for elected county officials.
NACO developed recommended minimum salaries for groups of similar counties, and for Sheridan County that means a salary of $44,445 next year with annual raises of about 3% to reach $48,600 in 2022. The county commissioners will make half the salary of the other officials.
The Sheridan County board yesterday also reorganized for the new year with Loren Paul elected chairman and James Krotz vice-chairman.
